A view from Bellagio, the promontory town where Lake Como divides into its two southern arms — water on one side, the climbing lanes of the town on the other, the Alps closing the distance beyond. Photographed in late September 2016 during my first trip to Italy, on the same visit that produced the wider views of the lake and the town elsewhere in this collection.
