Pantheon

The Pantheon is the best-preserved Roman building in the world — built by Hadrian around 126 AD on the site of an earlier temple, and continuously in use since then, first as a temple and since the seventh century as a Christian church. The dome is 142 feet in diameter, still the largest unreinforced concrete dome in the world after nearly nineteen hundred years. The oculus at its center is the only source of natural light.
