Ponte Cavour crosses the Tiber between the historic center and the Prati neighborhood — a relatively young bridge by Roman standards, opened in 1901. The view along the Tiber from this stretch is one of the quieter Roman prospects: the river, the embankments, the rooftops of the old city, and the dome of St. Peter's rising in the distance on a clear day.
Made in October 2016 in black and white during my first time in Italy. Rome on the Tiber is essentially endless — every bridge gives a different angle on the same city, and the embankments are some of the best places in Rome to walk.
