The square at street level, where photography stops being about monuments and starts being about people. Trafalgar is one of London's great gathering places — a square that has hosted political rallies, holiday celebrations, and the simple act of sitting on a fountain wall in afternoon sun for over a hundred and fifty years. Made in May 2023 during my first visit to England. The monuments matter; the people in front of them matter more.
