The same column, rendered in black and white to bring out the sculptural weight of the stone and the contrast against the London sky. There are certain monuments that ask to be photographed in monochrome — built originally to read as form rather than color, and most legible when color is removed from the equation. Nelson's Column is one of them. Made in May 2023 during my first time in London.
