The same Pulaski Monument in full color and from a wider stance, its marble catching cool daylight against a backdrop of oak leaves and a heavier bank of cloud. From here the ironwork fence that rings the base and the low relief panels partway up the shaft are easier to make out than in the tighter black-and-white view taken earlier in the day. A return pass through Monterey Square later in the same Savannah afternoon — worth the second look once the light had shifted.
