Four wires narrow to a point at a small pole near the bottom of the frame, fanning upward and out like the ribs of a hand-held fan, or the strings of an instrument tuned to an empty sky. The sky itself is left almost entirely blank — flat, pale, and textureless.
Reduced to this degree, the wires stop reading as infrastructure and start reading as pure geometry: a converging bundle of lines with nothing to compete with, the emptiness around them doing as much compositional work as the lines themselves.
