Curved Steps

Broad concrete steps sweep through the frame in smooth S-curves, raking light catching each rounded nosing as a bright ribbon while the surfaces soften toward the edges. A few leaves settle in the seams.

The pleasure is the line — those flowing curves and the gentle tonal gradient across them, hard material made to look fluid. The eye rides the bright edges around the bend, following grace rather than function.
